Anubis will be introduced at BLAST World Final 2022. When Anubis will have first pro match?

The new professional map Anubis will most likely debut at BLAST World Final 2022. According to HLTV's renewed tournament page, all other significant events until then will still use Dust 2.

This is not exactly great news for fans dying to see professional players in action on Anubis. Any new map takes time to develop and add to a team's pool. For example, Ancient was used only six times at IEM Summer 2021, when it was first introduced. And the stakes weren't as high as now to experiment with a new map.

Valve removes Dust 2 from Active Duty, nerfs AWP and M4A1-S

Anubis was first introduced on March 31, 2020, only for scrimmage mode. Probably, it played out quite well or was popular, but Valve moved it to competitive 10 days later. Anubis is the first CS:GO community-made map to get into the official rotation since Cache. This time, Valve bought the rights from its creators.

BLAST Premier World Final 2022 will run from December 14 to 18 in Abu Dhabi. Eight contestants, including Outsiders, NAVI, Vitality, and FaZe Clan, will fight for a share of the million-dollar prize pool.
