Chopper reveals that m0NESY personally convinced kyousuke to join Falcons Interview
2026-03-22 17:09:00Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov shed some light on Maxim "Kyousuke" Lukin's departure to Falcons. He echoed rumors, which claimed that Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov persuaded the young rifler. The ex-captain shared this in a YouTube podcast with Fedor Smolov.
– I heard m0NESY's agent got had long talks with kyosuke, and the young guy fell for the money, to put it bluntly.
– That was not an agent.
– Not an agent? M0NESY himself?
– The man himself, yes. It's a great omission for Team Spirit. I understand the other side perfectly well. You have such a star prospect, everyone wants him to join your team. Kyousuke chose his path. Let's see what he achieves. That was a big misstep for Spirit.
– Is it true he was about to join the main roster?
– It has been already agreed that he would be in the main lineup 100%.
– I also heard that kyousuke wanted to outshine donk. Like, he would be lost in his shadow in Spirit.
– This seems like some kind of manipulation. Everyone sees what's happening right now. When you need to convince a young player, who isn't aware how things work, but he listens [to Falcons], believes, and makes the move. He is in still in a shadow but of the other players. It's a common practice. That's how it often happens.
This information was partially confirmed by chopper earlier. In the middle of 2025, Team Spirit was about to promote kyousuke but the player decided to go to Falcons. OverDrive also speculated that m0NESY and NiKo played major roles in those negotiations to convince the young rifler. Donk and Spirit's CEO were unable to stop kyousuke.
Based on stats, kyousuke is a secondary star on Falcons roster. At some point, zonic stated that m0NESY was his "ultimate star player" and admitted he made mistake, trying to make it way too comfortable for kyousuke. NiKo repeatedly said he was willing to step back and let the young star shine.
