Xan's competitive journey began in March 2021 with Chicken Rice Sedap (CRS), participating in the VCT 2021: MY&SG Challengers 3. Although his debut team didn't secure a prize, this early experience laid the foundation for his later accomplishments. He also briefly played for Team Nasi Lemak (NL) later that year. These early teams, while not achieving significant wins, provided invaluable experience and exposure to the competitive landscape.
Throughout his career, Xan has represented approximately nine different teams, showcasing his adaptability and ability to integrate into various team dynamics. He has played for teams across several regions, including Singapore and the Philippines. Some of these teams, such as X10 Esports (ranked top 15 globally at one point) and LaZe, have provided him with higher-level competition and valuable experience in major tournaments.
