"Outlaw removes a lot of skill." TenZ, Chronicle and other pros on Valorant's new sniper rifle

Valorant professional players discussed the new game's weapon, Outlaw. Sentinels star Tyson "TenZ" Ngo thinks the weapon is worth buying against light armor. He also supposed that Chamber might become relevant again in the meta.

Buying half armor can be kind of scary, because you are playing against somewhat semi-automatic Operator. I think it's actually very very good. I think it can be f**ked up if Chamber comes back into meta because of it. Because I potentially see it. But Chamber is not as good as he used to be. I definitely can see this gun being really strong. Scope guns in general are pretty strong in Valorant. The thing is, it's not an easy gun. You can do noscoping at very close range, and it would be better than OP but not anywhere as good as Marshall.

Fnatic's Timofey "Chronicle" Khromov thinks the gun will make eco rounds impossible. In his opinion, Outlaw is "broken as f**k."

Formulation Gaming's Brandon "Jaf" Jafarpouran thinks that Outlaw is way too accurate when spamming. The gun recoil resets too fast without any risk for a shooter.

The gun is only about to be tested in professional matches with the start of new season in late February. So, Riot Games has plenty of time to nerf the weapon for top-level play if they consider it too strong.
