Riot Games changes Valorant format and schedule for 2024, implements unifying VCT points system

Designed to heighten the crescendo of the season, Championship Points will be the unifying mechanism across International Leagues and Global Tournaments, serving as a measure of each teams’ performance and the qualification mechanism for global events.
VCT 2024 Schedule and events
Riot Games also announced locations for Masters 2024. The first event will run in Madrid and the second will be staged in Shanghai. Additionally, China will have its own league, which will operate along the standard EMEA, Pacific, and Americas. The kick-off tournament will be changed from an international event to four tournaments, one for each league.
