NOM Esports releases Valorant roster, accuses VRL East of not paying prize money Rumors

NOM Esports released their active lineup with the coach after two season of competing in VRL East Surge. Dexerto's Bo Hoogland stated that the organization owed players almost $10,000 in salaries and didn't provide the promised bootcamp.

NOM released an official statement, blaming VRL East for the club's issues. According to it, they didn't receive prize money for two seasons of competitions and couldn't make a bootcamp for the roster as it was supposedly promised by the tournament operator too.

The team release didn't went smooth too. According to the players, NOM first parted ways with the squad "but after realizing that it was in fact the roster that owned the spot, the organization approached the players and tried to re-sign them for 2023." The lineup declined their proposition.

NOM finished 3rd in VRL 2022 East Surge Stage 2 and 4th in Stage 1. They earned around $6,100 in prize money from these events. Team's manager states that the org's debt to the players is less than $9,000.
