KennyS: "Riot didn't accept my loan to OG because of contractual reasons"
2022-05-05 13:38:00French CS:GO superstar Kenny "KennyS" Schrub confirmed the rumors of him trying to play for OG in Valorant. He said Riot Games blocked this move because of his contract with G2 Esports. Kenny pointed out that he doesn’t blame anyone, although he feels sorry that his move didn’t happen.
These last days you guys might have heard about a rumor about a potential switch on Valorant. Indeed, I was about to play the VRL France (Valorant Regional League) with OG.
I was supposed to play professionally on Valorant for a short time (about 2 months) through a loan transfer from G2 to OG. With this opportunity my goal was to prove myself on the Valorant scene and what I was able to do in this game.Unfortunately, Riot didn't accept this loan because of contractual reasons, I don't blame anyone, it is what it is.

KennyS tryout and Riot’s denial were previously reported by French insider Guillaume "neL" Canelo. The Journalist was surprised by the block because KennyS never participated in Valorant events under the G2 logo.
KennyS was benched in G2's CS team more than a year ago, in March 2021. He had one stand-in appearance late in the year to replace their missing IGL on LAN. Besides this, KennyS was streaming both CS:GO and Valorant.
