TheMad's competitive journey began in July 2020 with Alliance Espor (AllE), participating in the PCS Series 2 EU. While his initial tournaments didn't yield any prize money, this early experience laid the foundation for his future success. He played alongside players like Warde and BARON (M. Furkan Karadeniz) in his first team. His second tournament, PCS Series 4 EU with Esporlab (ESPL), resulted in a 5th-place finish and a small prize payout, further honing his skills and competitive spirit.

Over his career, TheMad has represented five different teams: AllE, ESPL, HOWL Esports, Team Turkey (TUR), and his current team, EF. His time with HOWL Esports was particularly prolific, contributing significantly to his overall prize earnings. His participation in Team Turkey, a top-40 globally ranked team in 2022, also added to his experience and exposure to high-level competition.
