Gyumin's competitive journey began in February 2021 with V7 (Veronica7), where he quickly made a name for himself. His debut tournament, PLS 2021 S1, saw his team claim victory, setting the stage for his future successes. This early success showcased his talent and adaptability, laying the foundation for his future career in professional PUBG. His early career also included a stint with MaD Clan, participating in the TMC Global Invitational 2021 (TMC Global 2021).
