TSM, Evil Geniuses, Team Liquid, gaming companies oppose abortion ban

TSM, EG, Team Liquid, XSET other esports and gaming organizations, such as Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Bethesda, Naughty Dog, Xbox, Sony, and many others, made public statements against ending federal abortion rights. They condemn the court's decision that violates women's rights.

Evil Geniuses CEO Nicole Lapointe condemned the decision and offered their employees a relocation.

I am struggling to politely and properly express the disappointment, anger, and fear that today's news set for human rights in the US. It is easy to feel powerless in these times, but I am grounded knowing know where I do have the influence to help.

Safety, and right to choose, of all Evil Genisues is paramount to me. We will cover relocation of all our employees and their households who do not feel safe, to our WA or CA offices.

I also open our doors for esports friends of EG, who need a safe space to work. And I encourage everyone to familiarize and share resources. I welcome those to drop in this thread to amplify!

On June 24, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling that recognized the right to abortion as constitutional. Some states immediately banned abortions, while some others will expectedly follow.
