Skarner VGU rework release date is revealed by League of Legends developer

Riot Games has announced a release window for the Skarner VGU rework in League of Legends. The information was revealed by the game developer RiotBrightmoon on Reddit. He claimed the champion would be added to the PBE server "in a matter of weeks, not months."

According to him, Riot Games planned to reveal the details of the release date in the developers' blog, which was released on February 29 but decided not to. They were worried that the community might become annoyed with constant mentions of Skarner over two years.

Two patches fit this release window: 14.6 and 14.7. The PBE testing for them will begin after March 6 and 20, respectively. The full release of the redesigned Skarner should be expected in April.

Skarner is one of the Riot Games' longest champion rework projects. His VGU was announced on February 4, 2022, after the user vote. More details about the new champion's look and abilities can be found here.
