Gorgc responds to Dota 2 critique: "LoL heroes are not interesting. Except for the swimsuit skins"

Dota 2 streamer Janne "Gorgc" Stefanovski responded to League of Legends professional player Danil "Diamondprox" Reshetnikov. He called Riot Games' MOBA non-interesting and mocked the developers for "bikini skins."

How are Dota heroes boring? I'm not even one of those guys. I actually think League is not a bad game. It's not a bad game, but their heroes are not interesting. Like what the f**k you're talking about. Except for the swimsuit skins. Now those are interesting. This is what we call content [shows skins]. Pool party, you know, you just put people in bikinis. Genius. Genius marketing.

On November 14, Diamondprox compared the games, advocating for League of Legends being more skilled and interesting.

On average, the Dota 2 heroes are twice as primitive. When it was Warcraft in 2008, you were throwing Mirana's arrows, thinking it was a top-tier skill display and a super interesting ability. Dota is harder as there are more keys? These keys are easier. I played a lot of Dota 2. I only don't know some new characters. Rubick? He's just a hero. I spammed him a lot, I liked the hero. It was fun, but he got outdated, like the other characters. LoL is way harder. You'll spend a lot of time learning how to play a single champion.

By coincidence, on November 19, Riot Games presented the new champion, Hwei. After his abilities were revealed to the public, the LoL subreddit recognized him as the Dota 2 character Invoker. The champion uses the same mechanic of mixing three skill keys into many abilities.
