G2 Esports CEO Carlos "ocelote" Rodriguez got under fire after the esports community spotted Andrew Tate visiting the org's celebration. Fans were surprised to see the controversial person at the party and unleashed their anger at ocelote.

Some prominent community figures immediately accused Carlos of acting provocatively on purpose. LEC caster Medic called his tweet an "engagement bait."

Not even the fame of esports team with probably most female lineups saved the head of G2 from the attacks on the internet.

Known shoutcaster Trevor "Quickshot" Henry and his wife Becca raised their voices. They don't want Tate to be involved in Esports and judged ocelote for being involved with Andrew.

The head of G2 was quick to respond to the critics on Twitter. He doesn't feel like he needs to apologize or reconsider his friendships.

Andrew Tate is a former kickboxer and online entrepreneur, infamous for his openly misogynistic views. Tate organized a porn webcam camp in Romania. He is supposedly facing charges of human trafficking and rape in the country, which he denied in an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox. Tate was banned from multiple social platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, and Twitch.
