2022-05-29 09:54:00Royal Never Give Up secures the Mid-Season Invitational 2022 title after defeating T1 in the grand final with a score of 3:2. The winning moment was spoiled by the absence of the Chinese squad on stage. RNG were playing remotely from home and couldn't properly celebrate their win, but got their own trophy.
This is the third victory for RNG. Their opponents could've achieved the same as they were holding two trophies as well. This is also the fourth Korean-Chinese grand final in the history of MSI, with two of the previous faceoffs going the way of China.

Mid-Season Invitational 2022 took place in Busan, Korea, from May 10-29. Eleven teams competed for a $250,000 prize pool and a share of in-game sales. Chinese representative had to play remotely due to COVID-19 lockdowns. A mistake with artificial ping implemented to create equal terms for all teams caused an issue during Group Stage, and RNG had to replay several matches.
