Faker: "There's so much energy from the fans. I wish we will win the trophy for them" Interview

T1's superstar Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok gave a post-match interview after their victory over RNG in the final game of the Rumble Stage at Mid-Season Invitational 2022. He hopes to win the tournament that became the first home international LAN in his long career.

Because it is happening in Korea, so many fans are showing up to support us. It's more energetic, there's so much energy from them, so it's much more entertaining as well. I wish we will win the trophy for them.

On Rumble Stage being a challenge for T1

Everyone participated in the communication to solve the issue, and we were able to find an outcome.

We weren't able to showcase the spring T1 during the Rumble stage. I'm looking forward to showing the best T1 throughout the Knockout stage.

T1 lost the opening match to G2 Esports but recovered during the following matches of the second group phase. Faker's team finished second with a record of 7-3. In the playoffs, Koreans will face either G2 or EG, depending on who RNG prefers as an opponent.
