RNG forced to replay several MSI 2022 group matches because of Riot's mistake
2022-05-13 09:35:00Royal Never Give Up has to replay three matches at Mid-Season Invitational 2022 because of the technical issues that occurred in Busan. Riot Games published an official statement explaining the situation on Twitter.
Since RNG is playing remotely from China, the TO implemented an artificial ping for every participant. But due to the wrong calibration, the latency in Busan appeared to be higher than expected. Riot Games decided to replay every RNG's past game to restore competitive integrity.
RNG won every single game against Istanbul Wildcats, PSG Talon, and Red Canids. The Chinese club already won its first replay against the Turkish squad. Riot Games rescheduled group stage phase 1, which will still finish as planned, on May 15.

Mid-Season Invitational 2022 is taking place in Busan on May 10-29. It features 11 teams from different regions. RNG is competing remotely from China because of the COVID lockdowns at home.
