Former CIS player Likkrit banned on Twitсh following US sanctions

The legendary CIS player and a former CrowCrowd League of Legends team co-owner Kirill "Likkrit" Malofeyev has been indefinitely blocked on Twitch. He shared the platform's full message on his social media.

As the Twitch statement goes, the ban happened because of the US sanctions against the Russian government and those who support its actions in Ukraine. Likkrit is the son of Konstantin Malofeev, a Russian businessman and the owner of the Orthodox media group Tsargrad.

Reason: Sanctions and mechanisms of US export control. You will receive a detailed email with detailed information on your temporary ban with instructions on how to appeal if you think the decision was made by mistake

The US sanction list was published on April 20. After that, Likkrit abandoned his co-ownership of the CrowCrowd team. You can read the full story about this on our website here.
