LGD mid laner Jay is permanently banned from League of Legends for match-fixing

Chen "Jay" Bo from LGD Gaming received a permanent ban for match-fixing in LPL. The league’s disciplinary commission announced it on Twitter. He can't participate in any esport run by Riot Games or Tencent as well as stream related content.

Jay was accused of match-fixing after anonymous leaks on Weibo. Allegedly, he lost on purpose at least two games: against Bilibili Gaming on March 20 and an unspecified match with Top Esports. There was a mention of another LGD player who could’ve assisted Jay in match-fixing.

LGD gaming finished the LPL 2022 Spring split in 16th place with a record of 3-13. The club promised to conduct its own investigation but did not comment on the matter yet. LGD has a substitute for Jay’s role in the face of Ji "YeG" Xin-Yu.
