Noxville reports when open qualifiers for The International 2025 will be held Rumors
2025-05-11 13:11:00Valve will likely hold open qualifiers for The International 2025 in early summer. The information was published by Dota 2 analyst Ben "Noxville" Steenhuisen. According to the game files' timestamps, the competition will run from June 7 to 24.
The in-game tickets for the Road to The International 2025 regions has been made. Timestamps set (which are obviously subject to change) are June 7th to June 24th (for all 6 regions, so likely will be spread out over that time as usual).
Tickets for open qualifiers for TI14 were added to Dota 2 on May 10. However, they did not reveal the dates of the matches, only a description of the competition.

If the dates are correct, there may be a scheduling conflict with PGL Wallachia Season 5. The tournament is set to be held on LAN in Studio format in Bucharest from June 18 to 29. The list of participants has yet to be revealed.
The International 2025 will be hosted by Germany from September 4 to 14. The tournament will feature 16 teams, some added via direct invitations, others qualifying from their regions. The defending world champion is Team Liquid.
