Peruvian Edge may risk disqualification from PGL Wallachia because of betting Rumors

Team Edge, previously known as (Mosquito Clan), may be at risk of being disqualified from PGL Wallachia S4. Allegendly, their Head of Dota 2, Khaled "sQreen" El-Khabbash was spotted openly placing bets on the other games of the tournament. This claim comes from a streamer and inactive professional Dota 2 player Gleb "Y0nd" Vazhnov. He didn't explain where did he get this rumor.

Information has leaked that the Mosquito clan, aka Edge, may be disqualified from the tournament [ESN: PGL Wallachia S4]. The reason for this is that sQreen is the head of the Dota 2 division of EDGE and he publicly bets on the tournament matches.

According to the PGL regulations, anyone involved in the team (manager/CEO, coach) does not have the right to bet on the games of the tournament in which his team is participating.

The Head of Dota is accused of placing bets in public. Currently, there are no mentions of bets on sQreen's Telegram channel. As of writing, Edge wasn't removed from the tournament, nor there were any public statements from the involved parties.

PGL Wallachia 4 is taking place from April 19 to 27 in Romania. The tournament prize pool is $1 million. 16 teams participate in the event. Edge had won their first game against Xtreme Gaming 2:1. They will face their next match tomorrow, April 20. The exact time and the name of the opponents will be determined later.
