Rumored to disband Chimera Esports tops second group stage of DreamLeague S25 with 4-0 matchscore

Dota 2 team Chimera Esports hasn't lost a single series in the second group stage of DreamLeague Season 25. The recently formed roster with daxak, lorenof, and TA2000 smashed every opponent and amassed 4-0 match score. They have guaranteed themselves the playoffs, and now fight for a spot in the upper bracket.

Chimera's results are even more surprising as they play with former teammate Nikita "daxak" Kuzmin as a stand-in. The whole lineup is rumored to disband after the event, which the offlaner mentioned in a recent interview. He hopes that good results will help them keep most of the roster, even tho he was kicked from the team before the event.

Only Parivision has the same match score in the second stage's leaderboards. Across three bo3s, Chimera lost only 3 games. They finished the first stage with 3-3-1 match score, losing only to Team Spirit. In the next series, they face Falcons. The bo3 is scheduled for March 25 at 11:00 CET.

DreamLeague Season 25 runs online from February 16 to March 3 with $1 mln in prize pool. Only eight teams are remaining in the second group stage. The reigning TI champions Team Liquid are on a brink of elimination with 0-4 match score.
