SumaiL replaces Malr1ne for rest of DreamLeague S25

Nigma's Dota 2 player Syed "SumaiL" Sumail Hassan will help Team Falcons finish DreamLeague Season 25. He will stand in for Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak. The organization announced this on social media.

According to the official statement, Malr1ne will be busy finalizing the US visa for ESL One Raleigh 2025. Falcons stressed that the American LAN tournament is a top priority for them. The Russian midlaner added on Telegram that he has to fly to Indonesia to apply for visa. He hopes there will be no issues with papers.

The first match for SumaiL will be a bo3 against PARIVISION in the second group stage. The game will begin on February 21, at 14:30 CEST. You can watch the match here.

This is not the first time SumaiL has stood in for Falcons. Hassan replaced Malr1ne in the past, also due to visa issues. The midlaner played for them on the first day of ESL One Birmingham 2024. Back then, the team scored two draws, and after Malr1ne's return, they managed to win the trophy.

DreamLeague Season 25 runs online from February 16 to March 2. Participants compete for a share of million dollars and EPT points, required to qualify for the Riyadh Masters 2025. Valve dropped patch 7.38 amidst the tournament. The organizers had to ban some items and Anti-Mage due to multiple bugs affecting the gameplay.
