Seleri goes inactive in Gaimin Gladiators: "It was my personal request to take a break"
2025-02-16 11:19:00Gaimin Gladiators announced that Melchior "Seleri" Hillenkamp is taking a break from professional competitions in Dota 2. They are attending DreamLeague Season 25 with a stand-in Arman "Malady" Orazbaev. This was revealed on social media.
Today we would like to announce a change within our Dota 2 roster. Starting with tonight's match in FISSURE Universe Episode 4 Closed Qualifier against Yakult's Brothers, Malady will be standing in for Seleri, who has been placed into an inactive role. This was done to let him take an extended break from Dota 2 due to the intense scheduling of events. Thank you to L1GA TEAM for the cooperation within this situation. We fully support Seleri's decision and hope to see him back on the playing field soon.

The captain didn't explain his decision but said it was his own choice. He promised to reveal more in a future update.
Best of luck to the lads! It was my personal request to take a break. I appreciate my teammates understanding and support. I'm glad Malady is able to lane with watson now, I hope they will own together :) I will post an update later about myself, thanks for now
Seleri has played for Gaimin Gladiators since the team's assemblance. Together with him, the team twice reached the grand final of The Internationals and won many different LAN tournaments including Riyadh Masters 2024.
DreamLeague Season 25 is held from February 16 to March 2 online. Participants will split the $1 million prize pool, with the champion earning $250,000.
