"I never saw dyrachyo drunk." Dota 2 community figures defend dyrachyo from Gaimin Gladiators co-founder's accusations

Former Gaimin Gladiators player Anton "dyrachyo" Shkredov was accused of unprofessional behavior by the team co-founder Joseph "Heklr" Turner. He claimed the player "spent all his time drinking" and didn't do replay reviews. A screenshot taken from Twitch chat appeared on the web.

Heklr also said dyrachyo wanted to play with Russians and framed his departure as a kick to get "some drama" for social media. The co-founder revealed that the org let him go "free of charge." Fans questioned this behavior, calling it uprofessional.

Dyrachyo responded to the accusations on stream after beating Gaimin Gladiators at FISSURE Playground. He urged his fans to not believe the rumors and sarcastically underlined that Tundra isn't full of Russian players.

Once again, we have beaten Gaimin Gladiators with a score of 2:0. Heard nasty things about me. Don't believe it. Come tomorrow and cheer for my CIS team against Heroic.

Some community figures went out to defend dyrachyo. For example, Russian podcaster KD All In claimed he "never saw the carry drunk." Former Gaimin Gladiators manager Oleg "Jak2oO" Porotnikov said, "We don't believe it, and I saw nothing like that."

On January 28, Heklr reacted to the controversy on X. He implied that influencers were clueless, and mentioned "managers with no knowledge." Shortly after, the GG co-founder deleted his account.

Dyrachyo's removal was always seen as a kick by the community figures. Rumor has it, the team wanted to part ways with the carry even before Riyadh Masters.

After carry's departure, Melchior "Seleri" Hillenkamp said, "Getting 1st place once and 2nd place three times is not what we are looking for. We felt that a change was needed."

Another co-founder Alex Cuccovillo said, "Sad moment, but it was the decision no one took lightly and mutually agreed upon." Dyrachyo recently spoke about the kick, and although he didn't name the exact reason, he guessed the team accumulated some tension and exhaustion from each other. His words in general fall in line with tOfu's comments on the matter. The carry also wasn't happy with GG promising that he is free to go, which "didn't turn out to be the case" in the end, according to him.

I was there in the chat when "Heklr" wrote this, just felt extremley odd and a weird place to talk about it. First thinking it was a troll, but later realized it actually was the co-founder.. Makes me think "Heklr" was doing some "drinking" of his own last night tbh.
