Pure: "MMR doesn't mean anything our days" Interview
2025-01-19 09:33:00BetBoom Team carry Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko gave an interview at ESL One Bangkok 2024. He shared an advice about building a professional career through the MMR ladder. While it may help to get noticed, the official matches will require a broader spectrum of ability. The interview was posted on RosesaGaming YouTube on January 17.
Yeah, I was a second guy to reach 13k MMR. I was even first in European server. But MMR our days doesn't mean anything. I can't give any suggestions on MMR gain or something else because it doesn't really matter. If you're only starting your career and showing that you're in some top-50, top-15, some teams are going to take a look at you. But in the officials, you're going to have to show some different gameplay, just as in scrims with your team. My suggestion is watch replays, play Dota and think about the game as much as you can, and you're going to do it.

Reflecting on his achievements, Pure said was happy to "finally win something." He noted that the past results weren't bad either.
I had some achievements in Tundra as well. I also had them with BetBoom previous year, too. 2nd place at DreamLeague S20 was good. We could've done better at Bali Major, but there were some consequences [to my actions]. But achievements are getting higher every year. I think that means that I'm improving as a person and a player, I'm evolving as a human being. So I'm just happy I finally won something.
Pure took the trophy of BLAST Slam #1 at the end of 2024. In Bangkok, they finished 3rd. The first tournament for BetBoom Team in 2025 will be FISSURE PLAYGROUND 1 — Dota. In the opening round of the Swiss stage, they will face Shopify Rebellion. The match is scheduled to start at 14:30 CET on January 24.
