Parker benched in Heroic due to unprofessional behavior at ESL Bangkok qualifier final

Heroic benched their Dota 2 player David "Parker" Nicho Flores. According to the official announcement, the carry showed "lack of desire to win" due to internal disagreements. Heroic posted the news on X.

The organization noted that the incident happened during the final of ESL One Bangkok 2024 qualifier, where they lost to beastcoast with a score of 2:3. They pointed out that this wasn't the only inappropriate incident involving young carry.

Today, we are benching Parker from our active Dota 2 roster. This decision follows an incident during the ESL Bangkok SA Qualifier final, where disagreements over the team's strategy resulted in Parker showing a lack of desire to win, which does not align with the professional standard we uphold at Heroic.

While we recognize the raw talent and contributions Parker has brought to the team, this pattern of unprofessional behavior, including previous incidents, is something we will not accept. We are open to discussing Parker's transfer with interested parties.

Heroic did not decide on a replacement yet. The team will attend BLAST Slam #1 with Yuma "Yuma" Langlet as a stand-in, who is currently playing for ex-Nouns stack called Atlantic City.
