No[o]ne: "I felt an huge boost when Arteezy said my map awareness greatly improved"

Parivision midlaner Volodymyr "No[o]ne" Minenko gave advice on how to improve in Dota 2. He recalled an episode when he realized he had gone on a new level after Artour "Arteezy" Babaev complimented his map awareness. The midlaner shared his thoughts on stream.

It's all about grinding. You play a lot, watch a lot. You manage your time rationally. Well, you try, as it might be really hard when you don't know how to do it. When you know about time management, you start to understand more and more. So you just do it, that's it.

I felt a huge boost when Arteezy approached me and said, "Wow, dude, you move so much better on the map." That was after we won our first Major in Hamburg with VP. Three months had passed, and we were just playing and discussing Dota, and he said that my map awareness increased greatly. That was when we finally beat them [EG].

No[o]ne has been competing since 2014 and reached the top-tier pro scene later than Arteezy, who won several events and got top 3 at The International 2014 early in his career. Virtus.pro peaked in 2017-2018, winning multiple tournaments but never going deep enough at TIs.

Earlier, No[o]ne discussed the best midlaners of the current pro scene of Dota 2. He struggled to choose between Malr1ne, Quinn, and Nisha. The Parivision player thinks the game became too reliant on teamplay to single out one performer.
