G2 Esports might sign Ame and XinQ's team Gaozu, according to Russian caster Rumors

G2 Esports might return to Dota 2. According to rumors, the European organization plans to sign the Chinese roster Gaozu with star carry Wang "Ame" Chunyu. Russian caster and insider Maelstorm shared this information on Telegram.

According to him, G2's decision depended on the team's result in the regional qualifiers for ESL One Bangkok 2024. In the final match, the team beat Xtreme Gaming and earned the spot at the tournament. After their win, Maelstorm doubled down on his words, adding that fans should "expect the announcement" in near future.

Larl: "Satanic and Yatoro have a similar gameplay, so he doesn't need to change anything"

G2 Esports previously cooperated with Invictus Gaming in Dota 2. They ran a team together from December 2023 to October 2024 under the tag of G2.iG. The squad didn't achieve any significant results.

ESL One Bangkok 2024 will be held from December 9 to 15 in Thailand. The teams will compete for $1 million and EPT points. The list of qualified teams can be found here.
