Russian caster: "Emo might become new Team Secret midlaner" Rumors

Russian commentator Vladimir "Maelstorm" Kuzminov named a possible replacement for Team Secret's midlane in Dota 2 roster. On Telegram, he rumored that the organization might be targeting Chinese player Zhou "Emo" Yi.

The last midlaner for Team Secret was Elliot "Adzantick" Hammond. He played as a stand-in at the PGL Wallachia Season 2 qualifiers. The team failed to qualify for the tournament. Secret's roster has only Puppey on it; they have yet to reveal the lineup for the new season.

Emo has no contract currently. At BetBoom Dacha Dota 2 2024, the Chinese player participated with the Yakult's Brothers stack. The midlaner has been playing professionally since 2017. He spent more than five years on Invictus Gaming. With the team, he took fourth place at The International 2021 and won ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021, which were the best achievement in his career.
