Malr1ne addresses ATF's jokes about leaving Falcons, talks about most broken heroes of patch 7.37d Interview
2024-10-27 10:47:00Team Falcons midlaner Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak shared his emotions after winning BetBoom Dacha Dota 2 2024. In an interview with the panel on Russian broadcast, he discussed the current meta, the team's development, and Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf's recent joke.
On their victory
We're happy, even though there are goals to achieve still. The last grand final [at PGL Wallachia] was a practice, so to say, a preparation. It seems we're developing well.
Malr1ne's take onpatch 7.37d
I actually enjoy this meta. You can always refresh things with a patch, it's always nice to have some balance. But the latest few patches were relatively balanced for me. What can you call as broken? Something like Bristleback, who's always banned, Shadow Demon. About three heroes are broken, and others are playable and can be countered.
On ATF's jokes about leaving Falcons for a better team
From Ammar's perspective, I guess, our team's prospects would still be better, considering we already completed a whole year together. You can call that not exactly a warm-up but a team building. Now, we're consolidating this, so it would be more productive to just stay with us.
Falcons took down Tundra in a spectacular bo5 grand final at BB Dacha Belgrade. The full five-game series ended up with an hour-long clash, which ended with an equal kill score. Before this, Falcons surprised everyone with a loss to Heroic in the grand final of PGL Wallachia S2.
Ammar is notorious for trolling. His words were mentioned by the desk, but we didn't find when he said anything about leaving. Maybe they meant his recent interview when offlaner suggested that the Falcons were past their peak.
