"Rue can replace boxi or Mira, and you won't see any difference." Former YeS captain on players rumored to join Spirit
2024-09-24 13:50:00Ex-captain of Yellow Submarine Dota 2 roster Vyacheslav "Asdekor" Ignatiev discussed his former teammates Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov and Aleksandr "Rue" Filin. He praised both for mechanical abilities and potential. The support has some issues with dedication but can compensate them with talent. Asdekor shared this in an interview for Dota2ru YouTube.
Rue is probably the most underrated player. I think he performs at a very high level. The only issue is laziness. He is too lazy to play pubs, he does it very little. That's the only thing that annoys me. But he is very talented. He is pleasant and comfortable to talk to in person. He has great potential as a player. It seems that if he'd replace boxi or Mira right now, you wouldn't see any difference. He plays really well. We had official games when he played a hero having zero match history with it and performed greatly. He's a talent.
Satanic is mechanically perfect, huge potential, strong player. Given a signature hero, he can win 1v9. As a person? An ordinary 16-17-year-old boy. Visit any school, you'll see 20 guys like him in 9th grade.
The duo will reportedly join Team Spirit's main roster instead of Yatoro and Mira. The two-time TI champions also began their run to greatness under Yellow Submarine tag. There were rumors about Collapse possibly leaving the roster, too, but one insider claimed the offlaner would remain on the team. The organization will likely reveal the new Dota 2 lineup closer to the DreamLeague S24 qualifiers, which start on September 28.
The other two former players from YeS have joined 9Pandas as stand-ins. Asdekor has yet to find a new squad. Yellow Submarine was run by Team Spirit manager Korb3n. He previously explained what would happen if Yatoro decided to rejoin the team in the near future. Read more about it below.
