Dataminers find leaked release date of new hero Bird Samurai Kez and Crownfall Act 4 in Dota 2 Rumors
2024-09-16 12:56:00Dataminers have found a possible release date for Crownfall Act IV in Dota 2. According to the game files, the final part of the event will run from September 24 to November 26, 2024. The information was posted on GitHub.
At The International 2024, Valve teased the new hero, Bird Samurai Kez. It was framed as if the hero will be released in Act 4, but it's possible that the developers were only teasing a more detailed announcement. Valve might've also postponed the ending of Crownfall. The previously discovered final date was mid-October.
Crownfall runs in Dota 2 since April 2024. It's the longest-lasting event in the history of the game. The story tells about struggle of Vengeful Spirit and Skywrath Mage against Queen Imperia. Kez was introduced in it as Kestrel. He is a leader of a revolutionary order that joins the protagonists on their path.
So far, not much is known about Kez. He belongs to flightless bird race, armed with a saber, and supposedly great at acrobatics judging by the teaser. You can read more about the character below.
