Dyrachyo: "At TI12, we stomped everyone, and here, we barely made it to the grand final" Interview

To be honest, I feel an unreal storm of emotions. I'm shocked that we won. In the end, it was a pretty simple decision to rush the base. But the way we discussed it was a mess. Both teams went through a real stress. I had a very difficult game. The opponents had Doom, although we were waiting for him to appear. <...>
[Was it hard for you to play against Doom?] I would say more against Slark. Pure played very well, respect to him. It was hard for us to kill him. Every fight we were jumping on Sand King or someone else, lassoing him, but the opponents had two powerful saves. We had to realize that we couldn't attack. We were bashing against this wall, but we couldn't do it.
In this interview dyrachyo echoed his teammate Marcus "Ace" Christensen, who also thought they'd lose at some point. The carry compared their run to the one from last year and underlined how harder it was this time.
At TI12, we stomped everyone 2:0 in 20 minutes, and here, we barely made it to the grand final. At some point, I thought we lost. In 2023, it was easy, but we got smashed in the grand final.
The International 2024 runs from September 4 to 15. The prize pool of the event is $2.5 mln. Gaimin Gladiators defeated Tundra and is now facing Team Liquid in the grand final. As of writing, the bo5 doesn't look favorable for them, as they lost the first game and fall behind in the second.
