33 after Riyadh Masters: "We'll get Gaimin Gladiators next time. It's not like we can't beat these guys"

Team Liquid offlaner Neta "33" Shapira is confident they can defeat their rivals from Gaimin Gladiators in an important Dota 2 match. In the latest team vlog, he gave a brief speech to his teammates, encouraging them to see their result at Riyadh Masters 2024 as a positive outcome.

We could've won these games super f**king easily. We'll get them next time. It's not something like, "Oh my god, we can't beat these guys." So you know what? F**k it, the tournament was good, and yeah, it's just how it goes sometimes.

Team Liquid had a nice run at Riyadh Masters up until the upper bracket final where they faced Gaimin Gladiators. In the following bo3 and bo5 series against them, 33 couldn't win a single game. At the same time, in the lower bracket final against season's best team Falcons, they had no issues.

At the recent Elite League 2024 S2, Team Liquid broke a loss streak which lasted since 2020. Despite nine grand final appearances, they never won a LAN and their last online victory took place during the COVID-19 pandemic. Most of the times, the squad lost the decider to Gladiators. However, the LAN in Peru lacked top-tier competition, and even then, Liquid barely squeezed out the win.
