Tundra will play DreamLeague S23 with RAMZES as a stand-in offlaner

L1GA TEAM announced that Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev will compete at DreamLeague Season 23 as a stand-in for Tundra Esports. The player, who is most known for his carry performance, will once again return to the offlane.

It might not be just one time thing, as RAMZES was practicing offlane in pubs even before the announcement. He recently revealed that it's unlikely he will continue playing as carry, saying that he is "too old" for that role. Kushnarev is signed as one for L1GA TEAM, but he did not participate in its recent matches. It won't be his first time on the offlane, as he played that role in Evil Geniuses in 2019-2020.

At the moment, Tundra doesn't have an offlaner in the roster. The team played the last few events with Tobias "Tobi" Buchner as a stand-in, taking 7-8th place at Elite League and finishing 3rd at ESL One Birmingham 2024. The team had to skip the currently ongoing PGL Wallachia S1 due to visa issues.

Previously, the offlane position in Tundra was taken by Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov, who left the roster with a public scandal after an ultimatum, that was caused by the streak of changes that went against his vision of the team. The player later admitted that his actions were inappropriate, and that he was overly emotional.
