Dendi reaches 2000 games mark on the professional Dota 2 scene

B8 captain Danil "Dendi" Ishutin has played 2,000 maps on the Dota 2 pro scene. The milestone was bypassed in a match against NAVI Junior in the closed qualifiers for ESL One Birmingham 2024 for Western Europe.

Dendi became the 17th Dota 2 player to reach this mark. The 34-year-old midlaner won 1035 times with 965 defeats during this period. The data was provided by datdota.org, based on their definition of professional play, which sometimes excludes small or less serious events.

The record-high number of maps played in tournaments belongs to Tal "Fly" Aizik, with 2575 games to his name. Following him are Puppey and KuroKy, with 2498 and 2447 maps, respectively.

Dendi has been competing since 2007, so there were plenty of original DotA matches in his career before the transition to the new game as well. B8 lost the match against NAVI Junior with a 1:2 score and failed to qualify for the Birmingham event.
