Ame celebrates 19th Asian Games victory at Chinese fire department in home town Photo

LGD Gaming inactive player Wang "Ame" Chunyu visited the fire station in his hometown. The department invited him there after the Chinese team won the Dota 2 tournament as part of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou. The legendary carry also commented on their win, translated by CN Dota In A Nutshell on Twitter.

Getting this Asian Games championship means the two months of bootcamp time were not wasted. It also means that our hard work finally paid off after all. All of my teammates took this tournament very seriously and performed very well, too. I think I also did okay from the start of the bootcamp till we finally won the tournament.

About Team Thailand, I think they are not as strong as we are. After losing the first game against Team Malaysia, we just decided to ban their Tinker and nothing else, and we played the rest of that series as usual. About losing the first game against Team Mongolia, I think it's not really a surprise because everybody who plays this game should know that they are not a weak team at all.
