"Both KuroKy and Puppey were talking to him." Notail reveals how OG got Miracle- and why he picked them Video

OG co-founder Johan "N0tail" Sundstein shared the details about their acquisition of Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barqawi in 2015. The midlaner had several big names to pick from: Both KuroKy and Puppey wanted to play with him, but he picked Monkey Business, future OG. N0tail explained the details to Gorgc on stream.

Actually, three or more teams were looking at him. Talking to him. But after TI, everyone saw the YouTube highlights. And he was looking like a super promising player. Both Kuro and Puppey were talking to him. It was old Liquid [5Jungz at that moment] and Team Secret.

[Gorgc: He had some good offers. What made him choose you instead of them?] That's a good question. I'm not exactly sure, but once I heard that his brother was also telling him, "Bro, bro, bro, you should go with those guys". I don't know if that was true or if it was his friend or someone else; you can ask him. That was the final factor.

N0tail about removal of DPC: "It's the best thing that happened to Dota since before DPC"

Miracle- was a pub star with minimum professional experience before joining Monkey Business on August 28, 2015. KuroKy officially exited Team Secret a week before that and, on the same date, assembled his team, 5Jungz. Later, they became Team Liquid.

Miracle- was part of OG until The International 2016. Their early exit from the tournament led to a team reshuffle and the midlaner's transfer to Liquid. This team won the next TI, while OG later got TI8 and TI9 trophies.
