OG Taiga on his absence after match-fixing accusations: "I've been having anxiety and depression for a while, it just got worse"
2023-05-25 09:20:00OG player Tommy "Taiga" Le explained his break for the fans. It appears that the player had mental issues for a while, which "got worse lately" and affected his performance. He revealed it on his Discord channel, saying that he's currently undergoing mental therapy.

While Taiga was absent, several figures supposed he was somehow involved in suspicious betting activity. Valve-banned player Yaroslav "Limitless" Parshin claimed Taiga was "giving away first bloods", while the former Mind Games and VP's coach Arsenii "ArsZeeqq" Usov partially confirmed it. Later, however, he took back his words and apologized to Taiga.

We talked to him in person, and he explained the situation. I understood that I misinterpreted something. I want to apologize to all his fans that could've doubted Taiga. I also apologized to him in person. And this guy Limitless is nothing but a pissed-off kid who decided to lie after some beef in a pub game.
The support has been missing since the start of DPC WEU 2023 Summer Tour. OG played three matches with stand-ins during this time. By Valve's rules, they can only play four such games and should be disqualified if a fifth match without a full roster happens. However, there are circumstantial exceptions that can be applied to allow them to compete.
