Knights qualify for Lima Major 2023. The team was accused of cheating in DPC
2023-01-31 13:59:00Chinese Team Knights defeated Dawn Gaming in the DPC CN 2023 Tour 1 and made it to 4D Esports Lima Dota Major 2023. The team has a 5-1 win record in the league, sharing top placements with Aster.
Knights were previously accused of cheating in the DPC league. The players were suspected of using map hack. Tournament operator Perfect World reportedly sent evidence to Valve on January 10, but there hasn't been any update from either party on the matter.
With Knights and Aster being first teams to qualify, two more Major spots are about to be determined in the following days in China. PSG.LGD and Xtreme Gaming are the favorites to go through with the best results after five tours. They are currently playing against each other.
DPC CN 2023 Tour 1 runs online from January 5 to February 3. Best Chinese teams are fighting for the four Major invites, DPC points and a share of $205,000.
