Gpk~ "dives the fountain" IRL to celebrate BetBoom's victory in DPC, while NAVI gets relegated to Division II Video
2023-01-30 08:56:00Eastern European DPC 2023 Tour 1 came to an end for the upper division. BetBoom conquered the top spot in the chart, defeating Team Spirit. NAVI dropped down to the lower division for the first time in history.
The showdown match between BetBoom and Spirit ended in favour of the former team with a 2:1 score. For a true Dota player like Danil "gpk~" Skutin, an easy win was not enough; he needed to dive the fountain. And he did just that, jumping into their bootcamp pool on stream. The air temperature in Serbia was around 0 at this time.
BetBoom had a flawless run in Tour 1. The team earned their Lima Major spot, along with Spirit and HellRaisers. NAVI and Nemiga were relegated to the lower division, having a 1-6 record each.
DPC EEU 2023 Tour 1 ran from January 8 to 30 online. Eight teams fought for DPC points, three Major invites and $205,000 of prize money.
