Ukrainian coach AWF parts ways with MidOne's SMG after 3 weeks of work. It's his second unfortunate SEA stint in a row

Ukrainian coach Andrii "ALWAYSWANNAFLY" Bondarenko has left the coaching position in Team SMG. This was revealed by their player Marvin "Boomy" Ruston. When asked about their coach, he said that AWF "was coaching us for a couple of series, but things didn't work out."

AWF's officially joined the team in early January and saw himself out of the team before the month's end. Although he supposedly took part in the team's development for some time before the reveal.

GH: "I'm happy with ATF. He is playing a lot of games, his hero pool is slowly getting bigger and bigger"

SMG is the second SEA team that the Ukrainian coach recently worked with. Last season, ALWAYSWANNAFLY joined Talon to help him qualify for The International 2022. Even though they succeeded with the task, he couldn't help the team in the early stages in Singapore due to unfortunate flight cancellations. Despite players giving AWF some credit, they parted ways in November.

SMG had a rough start in DPC SEA 2023 Tour 1, winning only one game out of four against the outsider team Fnatic. Two wins at the end of the season allowed them to avoid relegation.
