Quinn on EU DPC after years in NA: "I've just enjoyed playing actual opponents for every match, as opposed to one or two" Interview

Quinn "Quinn" Callahan spoke with the panel after Gaimin Gladiators defeated Into The Breach in DPC WEU 2023 Tour 1. He revealed having BetBoom players blacklisted and shared his opinion on European competition compared to NA.

NA is more stressful from Quinn's POV

I thought it would be more stressful coming to Europe because every match is hard and difficult, but I felt the inverse that it's less stressful. Because it's more consistent. Whereas NA, it's more like you can win asleep for half of the games, and it's just a mounting pressure: you're going to play EG at the end of the season, and it's the only match that matters.

Whereas in Europe, it's more like incremental stress, which has just been nicer for me, to be honest. I've just enjoyed playing actual opponents for every match, as opposed to one or two.

Is he improving in Europe?

Yeah, for sure. There's a reason for this region to be more competitive. It has a large player pool, and there are also so many good players. You are forced to keep grinding and getting better, or you gonna get overtaken by someone like Into The Breach, who has been grinding and is super hungry. If you're not on top of your game, you gonna get trampled.

Who's on Quinn's blacklist in pubs?

Alright, so my number one, I can't say because I think he might physically harm me in real life, so I won't say that. I'll be spicy and say BetBoom players as a holistic group.
