In talks with Nix after the match with HellRaisers, he pointed out that DPC points may be just as important as the Major spot or any regional rivalry, and shared some funny stories and jokes about the team's routine.
The Major is not the main goal. There are DPC points, and you really need to grab that first place. If you cannot make it, second place is ok too. But you must approach the final match without any losses. <...>
On the one hand, yes [BetBoom is the main rival]. On the other, not so much. <...> I'd bet on the distance. Of course, we want to win, but I won't be upset if we'll play our Dota and will not manage to win. Because the distance will decide [who's better]. You can arrive at the Major and do better than BetBoom. Or you can perform better at TI. Or you can win here, in DPC, and lose at TI, and nobody will ever care about your placement in the league.
DPC is important in terms of points. The first place gives you one amount, while the second provides less. This is the only thing that matters. There's nothing too important here. Yes, we'd like to win, but as a professional, I only care about the points.
Wrestling memes in the team
We were wrestling with Larl once. We had this meme when we wanted to buy three tights and go wrestling on a tatami: me, Collapse, and Larl [Nix: Listen, it would be some nice Gachimuchi content for the org]. Well, in this case, we'd need a dirt pool. Like a muddy one to knead the clay. [Nix: Or a locker room. On Larl pumping iron too much

Jokes aside, I actually tell him to skip the gym before the games. He is restricted to do any excessive workouts a day before the matches. But he's a sporty guy, so he does the default sets to stay in shape. So during the DPC season, we don't go to the gym as much as we did before the DPC season.
On a relatively weak start in DPC
CIS is just that kind of a region. First of all, every other team has a boner for us. It's super obvious. I'll explain why: so many players either asked us to try them out, or we tested them but didn't pick. It lasts since 2021. You might remember Winstrike, a team once played in DPC. They won one match, and the second was against us. I had a feeling that they were playing the most important game of their lives. It was a full three-map bo3, 90 minutes each, and it looked like they will qualify to the Major after such [good performance]. But they lost every game after us. Because they probably wasted all their energy in that game. Yeah, teams are trying their best against us.
