Alwayswannafly might be coaching MidOne's Team SMG Rumors
2023-01-03 14:12:00Ukrainian coach Andrii "ALWAYSWANNAFLY" Bondarenko might be continuing his work in SEA. Supposedly he is currently coaching Team SMG with such players as Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng and Tue "ah fu" Soon Chuan.
Such rumors appeared after AWF showed a post-match screen of a game between SMG and Geek Slate on stream. Fans spotted that he was on the coach slot in the picture. Additionally, the Ukrainian caster Oleksii "STORM" Tumanov posted a video of AWF praising him for something and added, "How do you think, which team could be trained by Andrii in the upcoming season?" In the comment section, some fans posted the mentioned screenshot.
Last season, ALWAYSWANNAFLY coached another SEA team, Talon. Under his leadership, they qualified for The International 2022, but unfortunate flight cancellations stopped him from arriving in Singapore in time. The team didn't survive the Group Stage. The specialist was praised by players, but still ended up being a free agent in November.
