OG win ESL One Malaysia, another tournament with stand-in

OG bested Team Aster in the grand final bo5 at ESL One Dota 2 Malaysia 2022. The deciding match ended with a score of 3:0.

In the second game, Du "Monet" Peng made a rampage, defending the Ancient in a 2v5. But even the heroics of Chinese carry couldn't bring them back.

OG won a second grand final this season, playing with a stand-in. This time it was their coach Evgeny "Chu" Makarov, who had to step in instead of Mikhail "Misha" Agatov. Previously, OG grabbed the ESL One Stockholm Major 2022 trophy when N0tail and Ceb, both currently inactive, took over the coach and support roles.

OG revealed why Misha missed so many events

ESL One Malaysia 2022 took place in Genting Highlights from August 23-28 with 12 attending teams. The prize pool of the tournament was $400,000.
