Outsiders reportedly didn't attend team meeting with Valve at PGL Major Arlington Rumors

Outsiders (Virtus.pro) didn't visit the team meeting with Valve at PGL Dota 2 Major Arlington 2022. According to Cyber.Sports.ru, every participating team manager was invited, but VP didn't send a representative.

During the meeting, the teams reportedly discussed esports-related information with someone from Valve. It's unclear why the Russian organization didn't attend it.

PGL Major Arlington was the latest DPC event before The International 2022 and determined who would get a direct invite to Singapore. During the competition, it was considered that Virtus.pro have already earned the slot, beating Fnatic by 0,05 points in the DPC charts.

That was the narrative coming to VP vs beastcoast match, which was a decider for Outsiders, but they didn't know about it at the time. After Major's conclusion, the official standings by Valve revealed that the invite goes to the SEA squad.

PGL Major Arlington 2022 took place from 4 to 14 August. 17 teams competed for the $500,000 prize pool and DPC points. In the bo5 grand final, Team Spirit defeated PSG.LGD and took the trophy.
