Team Spirit take the crown of PGL Major Arlington 2022

Team Spirit defeated PSG.LGD and finished first at PGL Dota 2 Major Arlington 2022. The grand-final bo5 featured the longest game of the event and ended with a score of 3:1.

The second game lasted 75 minutes and became the longest one in the tournament. There was a Rampage by Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, who bought two rapiers on Monkey King and got the Stygian Desolator on top of that. It was also the first game that Team Spirit won against PSG.LGD this season.

That game became the turning point in the match since next one was done in 27 minutes. And even if Game 4 started with an advantage for Chinese, after series of teamfights, Team Spirit overcame the opponents and destroyed their ancient.

Team Spirit defeated PSG.LGD earned $200,000 of prize money and 820 DPC Points. This is also a first major trophy in their cabinet.

PGL Major Arlington 2022 took place from 4 to 14 August with 17 attending teams and closed out the DPC season. The prize pool of the tournament was $500,000. Most of the TI11 participants earned their spot during this event. You can read who will travel to Singapore here.
