Ceb: "I'd be sadder to see Topson not playing if he wants than playing for another team"

OG stand-in Sebastien "Ceb" Debs shared what he thinks about Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen's decision to return to professional Dota and play for another team. Speaking to Mrs. Marple, before PGL Major Arlington 2022, he said they won't hold Topson from playing elsewhere.

I don't know where he will play. But I know that he wants to compete and he is hoping to play as soon as possible. Of course, I would be sad seeing him in another jersey. I think he would look ugly [laughs]. But I'm just happy he can follow his dream. I'd be sadder to know that he wants to play but he's not playing than playing for another team.

I would love seeing heim competing under the OG banner, but you can only have one team. You know, Valve has the rules that you cannot have two teams competing at TI at the same time. But I'm a Topson fan. Whatever he does, I'd follow him, I'd watch. And if one day it's OG versus Topson, I don't know.

Will an acquiring team have to pay for transfer?

Probably, I don't know the details. All I know is that OG is not an organization that will stop a player from playing. Any player, especially not Topson.

Topson could stood in for OG in Arlington?

I think we would've asked Topson to play pos 5. But this would've been… I'm not sure about this. He said "I can come and ruin the game for you."

Not long before the Arlington Major, Topson and OG announced that the midlaner started looking for a team. He will probably try to join one of the teams qualifying for The International 2022.
