PSG.LGD take Riyadh Masters 2022 over Spirit in a TI10 finals rematch

PSG.LGD won Riyadh Masters 2022 and took home the $1,5 mln prize. In the final match of the tournament Chinese team met Team Spirit and left them no chance, winning two maps in just over an hour.

PSG.LGD were seeded in quarter-finals after finishing the group on the second place. On the path to victory, the team knocked Nigma Galaxy, OG, and Team Spirit out from the tournament. Spirit were also seeded in the quarter-finals, and it won over Royal Never Give Up and Team Secret.

Standings

The tournament was filled with stand-ins. 4 out of 10 participants had standins, and 3 out of those 4 were prominent teams: Anathan "ana" Pham was playing for Team Liquid instead of Lasse "MATUMBAMAN" Urpalainen, Nikita "Daxak" Kuzmin replaced Neta "33" Shapira in Tundra, and Roman "Resolut1on" Fomynok performed instead of Daryl "iceiceice" Xiang for Team Secret.

Riyadh Masters 2022 was held in Riyadh by Saudi Esports Federation on July 20-24. The event had a $4 mln prize pool. According to the official rule book, organizers also allocated $100k for every team for "support".
